The OA Mirror Digestion Kit is the only commercially available matched Lys-C / Lys-N reagent pair. Lys-C cleaves C-terminal to lysine; Lys-N cleaves N-terminal to lysine — producing complementary peptide sets from the same protein. The pair is uniquely powerful for expanded proteome coverage, PTM site localization by ETD/EThcD fragmentation, and identification of isoform and splice-variant peptides that either enzyme alone would miss.
